The adventure begins with a deep and dramatic dive in Cenote El Pit, a spectacular vertical sinkhole reaching depths of up to 30 meters (98 feet). As you descend through crystal-clear water, beams of sunlight cut through the cavern, creating breathtaking light effects. At around 15 meters (50 feet), divers encounter a striking halocline, where freshwater and saltwater meet, producing a surreal, dreamlike distortion. Deeper still, clouds of hydrogen sulfide add a mysterious, almost ethereal atmosphere—making this an unforgettable and visually powerful dive. The experience continues at Cenote Dos Ojos, where you will complete two cavern dives, exploring both of its most celebrated lines: Barbie Line: A calm and visually stunning dive that combines open water with an overhead environment at approximately 5 meters (16 feet). Its gentle depth and wide passages make it ideal for enjoying the exceptional visibility and delicate rock formations in a relaxed setting. Bat Cave: A multi-level dive with a maximum depth of 9 meters (30 feet). Midway through the dive, you'll surface inside a natural air dome, where bats inhabit the ceiling. Surrounded by stalactites, stalagmites, and tree roots, this moment creates a unique connection between the underwater and dry cavern environment. After a brief pause, you'll descend again to complete the dive. Both dives in Dos Ojos feature easy navigation, remarkable formations, and pristine visibility—providing the perfect balance to the depth and intensity of El Pit.
