Camera: Phone, Action Camera (Go Pro, DJI): Free Professional Camera: 20 USD This combination is designed for the most adventurous intermediate divers—those eager to push their limits while exploring two of the most iconic cenotes in the Riviera Maya: Cenote El Pit and Cenote Dos Ojos, located within the Mayan territory of Jacinto Pat. The first dive takes place in Cenote El Pit, a spectacular vertical sinkhole reaching depths of up to 30 meters (98 feet). This dive offers a dramatic descent into deep, crystal-clear waters where light beams penetrate the cavern, creating breathtaking visual effects. At around 15 meters (50 feet), divers encounter a striking halocline, where freshwater and saltwater meet, producing a surreal, dreamlike distortion. The presence of hydrogen sulfide clouds enhances the mysterious, otherworldly atmosphere—making this an unforgettable deep diving experience. The second dive takes you to Cenote Dos Ojos, where you can choose between two distinct cavern routes: Barbie Line: A relaxed and visually stunning dive that combines open water with an overhead environment at approximately 5 meters (16 feet) depth—ideal for enjoying the exceptional clarity and delicate formations in a comfortable and accessible setting. Bat Cave: A multi-level dive with a maximum depth of 9 meters (30 feet). Midway through the dive, you'll surface inside a natural air dome, where bats inhabit the ceiling. Surrounded by stalactites, stalagmites, and tree roots, this moment creates a powerful connection between the underwater and terrestrial worlds. After a brief pause, you'll descend again to complete the dive. Both routes in Dos Ojos offer gentle navigation, remarkable rock formations, and outstanding visibility—providing the perfect contrast and balance to the depth and intensity of El Pit. This two-dive combination delivers a thrilling and well-rounded cenote experience, blending deep exploration, haloclines, and cavern diving into one extraordinary adventure in the heart of the Mayan jungle.
