Bull Shark Bonanza (Seasonal)

Service Description

When the water temperatures of the Mexican Caribbean Sea drop down from November to March, it’s time for diving with our impressive and unique Bull Sharks. Bull Sharks can reach a size from 7 to 11.5 ft and show characteristically thick, stout bodies and long pectoral fins. Here in Playa del Carmen, we sometimes encounter them at the shallow reef dives. However, at our designated shark dives, we stay at a dive site of around 79 ft where the encounters during the season are almost guaranteed and you will have a once in a lifetime experience! The shark diving in Playa del Carmen is very strictly organized and monitored to keep it up to the highest safety level. Therefore, everybody follows certain rules of conduct, that are being revised and adapted by experts every year. This means for instance, that we will stay kneeling down during the dive and stick to a precise time slot. Scuba Concierge strictly does shark observation dives! Before booking, please send us a request first, as the duration of the shark season may vary each year. A day of diving with the Bull Sharks: Our shark dive tour takes around 3 hours. We will pick you up at your accommodation to get to the boat in time for our assigned time slot of the dive. After a short boat ride, we will conduct one shark dive and one dive at another of the beautiful dive spots at our shallow reef. On the boat you will be provided with snacks and drinks during the surface interval. After returning to shore, we will bring you back to your accommodation.
